Pamlico County | ROAD CONDITIONS UPDATE – IMPASSABLE ROADS

Emergency Services Responses are delayed

Due to heavy snow and deteriorating conditions, multiple roads across Pamlico County are IMPASSABLE at this time. Snow accumulation is creating extremely hazardous travel conditions.

Travel is strongly discouraged.

Emergency vehicles may be unable to reach you if you become stranded.

Safety Reminders:

• Stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary

• Remain at home if you can

• Keep emergency supplies on hand

• Check on neighbors if it is safe to do so

• Do NOT attempt to drive around barricades or through snow-covered roads

Pamlico County Emergency Management continues to monitor conditions and coordinate with local agencies. Updates will be shared as conditions change.
