Newport man faces drug trafficking charges
On 09/18/2023 Carteret County deputies arrested Anthony Jermane Daugherty, 45, of Willow Point Mobile Home Park, 1038 Chatham Street, Newport for drug trafficking. Detectives made several controlled narcotic purchases including trafficking amounts of fentanyl. During the arrest several baggies containing methamphetamine were located and seized.
