On June 15, 2026, deputies with the Pamlico County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 hang-up call in the Lynch’s Beach Road area. Upon arrival, deputies observed multiple individuals leaving the area on foot. Information obtained during the response indicated that one of the individuals may have been in possession of a firearm.
Deputies quickly established a perimeter and conducted a search of the surrounding area, resulting in six individuals being detained for further investigation.
Through interviews, evidence collection, and investigative efforts, deputies determined that the incident involved an attempted first-degree burglary and an attempted common law robbery. Investigators learned that the victim was familiar with one of the suspects due to a previous relationship, indicating the incident was targeted rather than random in nature.
As a result of the investigation, the following individuals were arrested:

Dubios Davidson, of Mount Olive, NC
• Felony Conspiracy
• Bond: $20,000 Secured
Antoine Michelet, of Mount Olive, NC
• Felony Conspiracy
• Bond: $20,000 Secured
Based on the facts developed during the investigation, the Pamlico County Sheriff’s Office believes this was an isolated event involving individuals known to one another. At no time was there believed to be a threat to the general public.
During the booking process, it was determined that four of the five individuals arrested have active immigration detainers issued by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Those detainers have been lodged with the Pamlico County Detention Center, and ICE has been notified in accordance with established procedures.
