The Carteret County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from the NC State Bureau of Investigation and Onslow County Sheriff’s Office crime scene unit are currently investigating the deaths of two brothers found deceased in their home at 120 Clem Fulcher Ct. on Wednesday, 08/03/2022.
On Tuesday, 08/09/2022 autopsies were performed on Phillip Raymond Fulcher, 59 and his younger brother William David Fulcher, 57, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. Pathologists have ruled the deaths as homicide.
Physical evidence at the scene indicated a violent altercation took place inside the home and it is possible that the suspect may have been injured suffering a laceration.
The Carteret County Sheriff’s Office has been investigating this case since the bodies were discovered inside the residence last Wednesday. Detectives are continuing to gather information and pursue leads at this time.
