Vandemere resident arrested for selling drugs

On Tuesday, August 16, 2022, Pamlico County Sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant at the residence of Brandon Anthony Peltier, 34 located in Vandemere, North Carolina.  Peltier had been the subject of an approximately three-month investigation into the sales of illegal narcotics in Pamlico County.

The investigation revealed that Peltier was selling amounts of crack cocaine and other controlled substances from his residence.  During the service of the warrant numerous items of drug paraphernalia were recovered related to the sale and use of narcotics.  11 firearms and associated ammunition and body armor were also seized.  Crack Cocaine, marijuana, packaging material, and digital scales were also seized.  Peltier was arrested and charged with the following crimes and placed into the Pamlico County Detention Center under a $50,000.00 secured bond.  More drug and weapons charges are expected.
