PAMLICO COUNTY – Congratulations to Jack Cauley, our area’s newest Eagle Scout. The award came Sunday, Jan. 30 during a ceremony attended by friends and family at Mary’s Chapel Church. Jack’s loving mother, Stacy, is well known in the community! She is the friendly face behind the checkout counter of Handy Mart in Alliance. A cousin, Ryan, is on track for his own Eagle Scout recognition, likely to come later…
