Sydney Carter Braxton, left, and Parker Augustus Braxton, children of Chad and Jo-Lynne Braxton of Vanceboro, recently received college degrees. Sydney graduated from ECU with a Masters of Science in Accounting. She will complete the CPA exam and begin work with PBMares, LLP in New Bern. Sydney graduated Summa Cum Laude from ECU in 2022 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and minor in Finance. She was President of ECU Club cheerleading, winning a College National Championship in 2021.
Parker is graduating from Craven Community College with an Associates of Arts degree. He will transfer to ECU to pursue a degree in business. He is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. A 2022 graduate of West Craven High School, he was a member of the National Honor Society, Varsity Basketball and Varsity Football team.
