SAN DIEGO, CA – Students who comprise the Academic Team of the Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps at Pamlico County High School competed with their peers on April 30 aboard the USS Midway –  placing eleventh overall.

Labeled TEAM JEOPARDY: A BRAIN BRAWL, the popular National Championship pulled from more than 500 Navy JROTC chapters across the USA. Expenses for the trip were largely funded by generous donations from local supporters in this area.

The Pamlico County High School group recently received yet another accolade: #1 Navy JROTC Unit in NC (for the tenth consecutive year).

These conscientious, hard-working cadets give back to the community, contributing over 4,000 volunteer hours throughout the year. For help with almost any project or special occasion, please call (252) 745-3151, ext. 543.
