Grant Preparation Workshop for Area Nonprofits

GRANTSBORO – All nonprofits serving Pamlico County are invited to attend a free, in-person seminar, “Getting Ready for Grant Writing,” on Wednesday, January 17th from 11am-1pm at the Delamar Center at Pamlico Community College. Instructor Natasha Davis from WPS Strategies will review the most common reasons grants are rejected and provide specific strategies for nonprofits to ensure they are prepared to execute a grant effectively and efficiently. Guest speaker Don Brinkley from the Harold H. Bate Foundation will also provide valuable insight for the attendees. Lunch is provided; for more workshop information and free registration, visit www.PamlicoSBC.com.

In September 2023, Imagine Pamlico hosted over 50 representatives from area non-profits at a day-long workshop at which they provided feedback on what they needed to improve their nonprofits. Based on their responses, Imagine Pamlico and the Pamlico Nonprofit Network partners are hosting free quarterly workshops for all nonprofits serving Pamlico County residents.
