BAYBORO – Jeannette Hudson and her granddaughter Lillie Grace Hudson examine bear tracks Tuesday afternoon – clearly evident in a sticky goo under the porch’s hummingbird feeder.
“I just want to alert my neighbors in Bayboro that we have had a bear around here on two consecutive nights,” chuckled Jeannette. “He went after our three bird feeders, and he must have carried off a large galvanized can of birdseed on the back porch, because I can’t find it anywhere.”
In addition to sticky footprints, bent metal shepherd hooks that once held feeders, and a dug up flower garden, the nocturnal creature also left a big calling card in a corner of the yard (I think you know what we mean!).
