Gala on Nov. 22 to Launch ‘Safe Home’ for Women

Proverbs 24:3 – Wise people are builders…they build families, businesses and communities

Volunteers mark the spot – a corner lot in Bayboro directly across Main Street from the Courthouse.

The INN at Pamlico will be a safe home here in Pamlico County for post-incarcerated women who truly desire a new beginning.

HERE IS OUR STORY:

After a person has paid their debt to society, if they have do not have a safe place to live with an address, they have little to no chance of carrying out their commitments and desires to start over and build a better life. It is time to fill this need. We are a small group of people from Pamlico County, working with a well established non-profit, Tried by Fire, Inc., which built ‘My Sister’s House’ – a highly successful re-entry home in New Bern.

The goal of our Nov. 22 Gala  is to raise the $50,000-plus which we need to purchase a 7/10ths acre plot of land in Bayboro, at 3rd and Main, on which to build The INN. Will you please help us take this first Big Step?

We believe fulfilling this assignment will bring many more blessings to our community, like a home for men and a House of Prayer for rehabilitation through God. Are YOU INN? We sincerely hope you will join us!
