Innocent Mistake? Or, Brazen Rebuke of Freedom?

CAMPAIGN TRAIL – “Three Red Banners” or “Three Red Flags” represent part of history of Communism in China – of which most Americans are unaware. Three Red Banners was an ideological Socialist slogan created by Mao Zedong in the 1950s when the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) launched a national works program to rebuild China’s collapsed economy.
The campaign, called the “Great Leap Forward,” was essentially CCP mandated slave labor on a massive scale to rebuild state owned industries, and build communes all over China. It turned out to be a catastrophic failure that not only failed to revive China’s economy, but also cost the lives of tens of millions of citizens leading historians to refer to that period as China’s “Great Famine.”
Why are the Three Red Banners significant or even relevant to our political discourse today? It would not be – except for the fact that in 2020, the Biden-Harris campaign was confronted with accusations that the “three red stripes” in their logo was a message that the Biden-Harris administration intended to drive America towards a national Socialist order much as Mao Zedong did with China’s Great Leap Forward.
Few people were aware of this controversy because Mainstream Media rarely reported it, so it was largely unknown to most Americans. The accusers also pointed to the Obama-Biden campaign eight years earlier where its campaign logo likewise had the three red stripes embedded within.
So, what was the Three Red Banners’ message? In China, it was a clarion call to establish a Socialist Order. It consisted mainly of the General Line for Socialist construction pushing for the Great Leap Forward. It was an idealistic slogan meaning, “aim high, make dramatic forward progress,” “build the People’s communes, depend on the collective” and “establish a Socialist order.” Some versions of the Three Red Flags also included: “Trust the sciences,” “Depend on the collective,” “Establish the Socialist Order,” or “Long live the Great Leap Forward,” “Long live the People’s Communes,” and “Long live the General Line of the Party (the CCP).”
By 1958 most of the Chinese peasant population had been organized to live and work in large communes of 5,000 people each. Private property confiscated by the state made into communes were essentially state-run labor camps. One lived in dormitories, used public facilities, ate at public food halls and worked as slave laborers. By the early 1960s the campaign had all but collapsed, leaving in its wake horrific loss of life with tens of millions of citizens dead from starvation or exhaustion. To date, Communist China’s Great Leap Forward represents in spectacular fashion the most ill-conceived and deadly social experiment ever imposed on a population by a government. Not only did the campaign fail to deliver on the “glorious progress” promised by Mao’s cynical propaganda, it remains an unsurpassed horrific historical account of a state-sponsored genocidal disaster.
So, what does this have to do with the Democrat Party? Well, have you seen the 2024 DNC logo? Note the three wavy red stripes embedded in the logo on the DNC stage in Chicago during the Democrat Convention? Are we not owed an explanation as to why the Democrats chose this logo crafted with the “Three Red Flags” especially when in 2020 they were confronted with an accusation the three red bars in their logos sent a message that the Democrats intended to establish an American Socialist Order? Their “Independent Fact Checkers” tried hard to debunk this notion in 2020 but to date there has been no official word from the Obama-Biden and the Biden-Harris campaigns addressing this controversy nor is the DNC denying this alleged Communist symbolism today in 2024.
The 2024 elections will be pivotal in American history. Now more than ever we must learn from the mistakes of the past. One may brush off the design of a graphical logo as trivial but understand that it’s not the icon that’s at issue but the embedded message and its intentions that matter. The Left has always concealed any “inconvenient history” and no doubt they will continue to deny the DNC’s “Socialist Stripes,” but as always, we must judge them not by their words but rather by their deeds.
Without question, since Biden-Harris took office in 2020, they have accelerated America’s march towards Socialism. In fact, many would argue, the DNC is pushing us towards Communism.
The DNC logo and graphical icon that represents today’s Democrat Party may indeed be symbolic of its mission to destroy the American Constitution, their open border policy and attacks on law and order have certainly defied our Founding document like never before. Could their logo be a rallying cry for all to fundamentally transform America and establish an American Socialist State? Not only does that bear serious scrutiny, if true, it requires our full vigilance with all-hands-on-deck to resist the hijacking of our nation, the obliteration of our freedoms and the destruction of our Constitutional Republic.
It’s about time we take up the challenge laid down by Benjamin Franklin as he left Constitution Hall in Philadelphia when he was asked ‘what We the People had been given’ to which he quipped: “It’s a Republic, madame, if you can keep it.”
