About Us:
Hospice of Pamlico Co., Inc. is a mission-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to providing the highest quality end-of-life care and support to our patients and their families. We provide Hospice Care, Bereavement Counseling and Community Education.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Bookkeeper to join our passionate team and help ensure our financial operations run smoothly and transparently.This is a part-time position, requiring two days per week. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate records of financial transactions using bookkeeping software

Manage accounts payable and receivable

Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly financial reports

Assist with budget tracking reporting

Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards

Collaborate with staff to track expenses and allocate funds appropriately

Prepare documentation for board and independent CPA reviews
Qualifications:

Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting

Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
