Traffic stop leads to chase, arrest on drug charges

On Wednesday, February 7, 2018, Investigators with the Pamlico County Sheriff’s Office attempted a traffic stop on NC Hwy. 55 in Reelsboro, on Antonio Dion STILLEY of Oriental, NC. When investigators activated their lights and siren, STILLEY did not stop. During the vehicle pursuit, STILLEY swerved at one of the patrol cars several times, before hitting the patrol car on the passenger side while traveling approximately 70 MPH. After hitting the patrol car, STILLEY hit a second vehicle being operated on Hwy. 55, before losing control of the vehicle and crashing into the ditch. Over the past several weeks, investigators have made several controlled purchases of heroin from STILLEY utilizing an undercover officer. STILLEY was arrested and charged with the following crimes:
