Three arrested for vehicle break-ins — One culprit skips bail — remains on the lam

On November 16th, 2017, The Pamlico County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Indian Bluffs Road, Arapahoe NC, in reference to a vehicle breaking and entering. The vehicle break- in resulted in the larceny of three handguns and multiple credit cards. After an extensive investigation by the Pamlico County Sheriff’s Office, three suspects were identified and charged with numerous felonies. This investigation led Pamlico County Sheriff’s Investigators to Carteret County where two of the three stolen firearms were recovered. The Pamlico County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Carteret County Sheriff’s Office, the Craven County Sheriff’s Office, and the Jones County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in this investigation. Additional charges may occur pending the conclusion of this investigation. The following suspects were arrested and placed into secured custody in the Pamlico County Jail for their involvement in this incident:

Since being arrested and charged, Rodriguez was released on bond. Rodriguez failed to appear for his first appearance in court. At the time the crime occurred, Rodriguez had recently been released from prison and was currently on Parole.
