Aurora Fossil Museum is the recipient of a generous Duke Energy Foundation Grant, which will support “Fossil Kits for NC Science Teachers Program.” The museum’s hard-working executive director, Cynthia Crane, is to put it mildly – ECSTATIC:
“This grant will help provide interactive, hands-on STEM resources and virtual programming to children across North Carolina. It is our goal to reach all 100 North Carolina counties through this program and we are grateful to the Duke Energy Foundation for their financial support.”
Duke Energy Foundation Representative Millie Chalk added: “Duke Energy is excited to support the Fossil Kits for NC Science Teachers Program. This creative outreach program through the Aurora Fossil Museum provides opportunities to expand STEM training across North Carolina.”
Additional support for this program is provided by Nutrien Phosphate-Aurora and the Burroughs Wellcome Fund. For more information, visit aurorafossilmuseum.org
