PotashCorp-Aurora seeks qualified candidates at upcoming Career Fair
AURORA — PotashCorp-Aurora will hold a Career Fair on Saturday, September 30th at the Employee Center. The company will interview candidates, including women, minorities and Veterans to fill open positions and enroll in apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs. The September 30th event will be open for Veterans only from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and open to all job seekers, including Veterans, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Prior to attending the Career Fair,applicants must visit their local NCWorks Career Center to fill out a PotashCorp-Aurora job application. They must also successfully complete a Career Readiness Certification at their local community college, or if they already have this Certification bring a copy of it with them to the Career Fair on September 30th.
PotashCorp-Aurora is looking for individuals to fill open positions in maintenance and plant operations. The company also seeks semi-skilled individuals to enroll in their apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship work-force training programs. “Apprenticeships help businesses like PotashCorp-Aurora find the specific talent we need to grow in a competitive environment,” said Renee Hunt, Human Resources Manager.
