BAYBORO – The team is traveling on April 20 to Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona, Florida. To prepare, these students give their own time to study at home, meeting during their lunches and after school.
What some may not know is that the schools they compete against have dedicated Academic Teams where students are not allowed to take part in any other activities. Pamlico students — due to the size of our community – are involved in other things: Varsity sports, jobs, music, or community service. That makes the performance of our Academic Team even more
impressive!
PLEASE HELP US FUND THE TRAVEL EXPENSES OF THESE STUDENTS.
Checks of any amount will be gladly accepted at the check-in area of Pamlico County High School. Or, mail to Pamlico County High School, 601 Main Street, Bayboro, NC 28515 Or, donations can be made at Brantley’s Village Restaurant in Oriental. Look for the Donation Jar on the ‘pie table’ near the front door.
