Sunday, Aug. 22 the MS National Senior America Pageant was the center of excitement for 25 beautiful and talented senior ladies from all over the United States. The pageant was a virtual pageant and our North Carolina 2020/2021 Queen, Laura C. Morgan from Pinewild, was honored to be among the group looking for the National Senior America title.

A watch party at the home of Jeff and Laura Morgan anxiously gathered as the ladies among the Top Ten were announced. Next came the four runner ups and then, Laura Morgan, the NC representative was awarded the title of MS Senior America 2021! She was presented the sash by Judy Kelley, MS NC Senior America 2000 and crowned by Beverly A. Wetherbie, MS VA Senior America 2005 who were directors of the NC pageant, which was held in November 2000. Laura will spend the next year promoting Senior America throughout the United States. She is an accomplished singer and will be available for performances and participating in community service activities upon request.
