Neighborhood in Reelsboro focus of drug arrests

On January 4, 2019, The Pamlico County Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (NCSBI), executed a search warrant at 61 Black Horse Run, Reelsboro, NC after receiving numerous drug complaints from concerned citizens. During the search, deputies seized Trafficking amounts of heroin, prescription medication, cocaine, marijuana, and a large sum of U.S. Currency. As a result of the operation, deputies arrested and charged (6) defendants with multiple drug violations. Additional charges are expected as the investigation in ongoing.

Those arrested and charged were:

Lisa Gibble Hawkins, 51, of 61 Black Horse Run, Reelsboro, NC

Charges: Trafficking in Opium

Conspire to Sell Heroin
Possess Drug Paraphernalia

Lisa Gibble Hawkins has a secure bond of $500,000.00 and a court date of 01/11/2019.

Daphne Leigh Kutkuhn, 29, of 18 Moonlight Lake Drive, Reelsboro, NC

Charges: Trafficking in Heroin

Sell/Deliver Heroin

Charges: Conspire to Sell/Deliver Heroin

Nicole Parker Willis, 34, of 451 Gales Creek Road, Newport, NC

Charges: Felony Possession of Heroin
