BEAUFORT – District Attorney Scott Thomas announced the following drug case convictions and resulting prison sentences obtained by his office in Carteret County Superior Court: DANIEL FOLEY NYBERG, 30, of New Bern, was sentenced to an active prison term of 117-171 months and a fine of $50,000 for his role in the break-in and theft of thousands of pills, mostly opiates, from the K-Mart on Arendell St. in Morehead City on June 19, 2017.
