Arrests made in Pamlico after four-month drug investigation

Over the past 2 weeks, The Pamlico County Sheriff’s Office concluded a 4-month drug operation targeting those responsible with selling illegal and dangerous drugs in Pamlico County. As a result of the operation two criminal suspects were charged and arrested. During the operation meth, heroin, cocaine, marijuana and a quantity of US Currency was seized. The following suspects were charged:

11 Rathfarnham Road, Apt H, Asheville, NC

Charges: Trafficking in Methamphetamine (2 Counts)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Bond: $500,000 Secured

Kelly Gibbs

Kelly Jackson Gibbs Jr

DOB-5/14/1969 B/M
4545 NC Highway 304, Bayboro, NC

Charges: Trafficking Heroin
PWIMSD Heroin (3 Counts)
Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling for CS
Bond: $750,000. The bond was later changed to a No Bond due to GIBBS being on federal post release for a prior federal drug conviction.

The sheriff’s office expects to make additional arrests related to this case in the coming weeks.
