Arrests made in illegal internet sweepstakes business robbery

On Saturday, December 10, 2016 at approximately 11:50pm, an illegal internet sweepstakes business located within Hardison Square in Alliance NC contacted Pamlico County Communications advising that 3 subjects had forcefully entered the business, all brandishing handguns and demanded cash. Upon arrival, The Pamlico County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation. Investigators with the Pamlico County Sheriff’s Office conducted interviews and collected evidence at the scene. Investigators determined that approximately $1,700.00 cash was stolen during the robbery. Investigators were able to identify the female from surveillance footage at the business. Other evidence located at the crime scene and interviews conducted during the investigation led Investigators to the identity of three males also involved in the robbery.
Saraya Richardson, 16, of New Bern was arrested on December 22nd, 2016 for one count of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and one Count of Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon. Richardson was placed under a $500,000 secured bond. Based on Richardson’s age and criminal history she received a bond reduction and has since been released after posting bond.
On February 9th, 2017 Domonic Graham, 25, of New Bern and Ryshante Graham, 26, of New Bern were arrested and charged with one count of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and one Count of Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon. Both Domonic Graham and Ryshante Graham were placed under a $250,000 secured bond and are being housed at the Pamlico County Detention Center. Both have a first appearance on February 10th, 2017 in Pamlico County District Court.
Investigators are expected to make the fourth arrest in this case in the near future. Investigators will also be charging the owner of the business for operating an illegal sweepstakes establishment.
