Alleged heroin dealers arrested in Alliance

On August 12, 2018 the Pamlico County Sheriff’s Office arrested Stephanie Nicole Hopkins age 33 of Pamlico County, and Gregory Michael Hopkins age 57 of Pamlico County. The arrests were the result of an investigation following a near fatal heroin overdose and several drug complaints and drug related 911 calls in the Alliance area of Pamlico County. The Pamlico County Sheriff’s Office determined that the heroin was purchased from the Hopkins residence. Investigators made application for and received a search warrant for the residence and executed the search warrant at 189 Ireland Road, Alliance. Narcotics and Money were seized during the search warrant to include heroin, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Stephanie Nicole Hopkins was arrested and charged with the following:
Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell or Deliver Schedule I controlled substance
Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell or Deliver Schedule VI controlled substance
(M) Child Abuse
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
S. Hopkins has a secure bond of $100,000.00 and is scheduled for a first appearance in Pamlico County Court on Friday.

Gregory Michael Hopkins was arrested and charged with the following:
Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell or Deliver Schedule I controlled substance
Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell or Deliver Schedule VI controlled substance
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
G. Hopkins has a secure bond of $100,000.00 an and is scheduled for a first appearance in Pamlico County Court on Friday.
