On 12/02/2017 Carteret County deputies arrested Brandon Edward Herring, 27, of 121 Brookside Ct South, Swansboro after stabbing 35-year-old Ronnie McArthur outside a relative’s home on Ocean View Lane in Salter Path. Deputies said the two got into an argument over a woman. Herring is accused of stabbing McArthur four times in the abdomen.
