1 Gig Up, 1 Gig Down via fiber optic cable

County applies for mega broadband grant! BAYBORO – Monday night, Pamlico County officials unanimously approved the go-ahead for an ambitious $6.6 million project, which could pay for in-ground placement of fiber optic cable to provide high-speed Internet for a mix of approximately 1,338 households and businesses.  Our rural area qualifies as ‘under-served’ for speedy Internet. As a result, a new ISP (Internet Service Provider) known as Brightspeed has spotted an opportunity. To make it happen, North Carolina will kick in $4 million of its federal money allocated for COVID relief; Pam…

Down Under protests trigger ‘Over-The-Top’ retaliation

Aussie government deploys invisible high energy beams CANBERRA, AUSTRALIA – The Canadian government’s treatment of protesting truckers over the past three weeks has been deplorable, but it pales in comparison to another English-speaking nation’s response inflicted upon segments of a large crowd Feb. 12 in Australia’s capital city. One or more types of crowd-control techniques, collectively known as ‘Directed Energy Weapons,’ were apparently used to disperse and dissuade a largely peaceful turnout estimated at almost half a million people. Earlier in the pandemic, Australian aut…

Ottawa Police push back peaceful protesters on Saturday

‘Get Vaxxed’ mantra now becomes ‘Beware Clots’

CDC’s Super Bowl tweet seems strange USA – Pardon me for being a bit incredulous. All of this seems like a long episode of the old Twilight Zone TV show. For well over a year now, health officials the world over have been extolling the benefits and virtues of a vaccine, for which Big Pharma has demanded and received a grant of zero liability. Meanwhile, young men and women in heretofore excellent health are keeling over within weeks, or even days, after receiving their shots. Trusting souls who got vaxxed (and survived) are now the ones doing most of the spreading. The brave Canadian truckers – poli…

Developer backs away from Union Point Park in New Bern

The Kessler Group and the City of New Bern issued joint statements Tuesday morning on the proposed development of a portion of Union Point Park. Concerns, questions, and complaints began pouring in on social media and through texts, emails and phone calls after last week’s Board of Aldermen meeting in which the Board considered a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Kessler Group.  The MOU was an agreement for the City and the Kessler Group to work together and communicate collaboratively on the prospect of development at three locations, one of which is a two-acre portion of Union Poi…

TRUCKERS FOREVER!

By Jon Rappoport | www.nomorefakenews.com Editor’s note: County Compass readers may be familiar with Mr. Rappoport’s website. This article is reprinted here with his permission. OTTAWA – The Canadian convoy of many, many trucks, now in Ottawa, and the many, many people supporting it, can’t be written off as some strange breakout group. This is a popular movement. A wave. A reader suggested it’s time for thousands of doctors and health workers, from all over the world, to step up to the plate and issue statements of strong support. Absolutely. read more…

Military health numbers manipulated after hearing

Old data adjusted so 2021 no longer looks abnormal WASHINGTON, DC – Whistleblowers within the Department of Defense have uncovered alarming criteria in the Defense Medical Epidemiology Database, pointing to a massive increase in sickness and injury diagnoses among military men and women in 2021 over previous years. When this came to light during a Jan. 24 hearing, a Pentagon spokesperson attributed it to a “glitch in the database.”  The numbers have apparently been scrubbed to eliminate any unusual spikes, which might cause some to suspect adverse effects from the mandated vaccine. The…

Whoa Nellie! Don’t mess with Union Point Park

NEW BERN – That was the unmistakable message conveyed by 150 or so citizens who packed City Hall during a Board of Aldermen meeting Tuesday night — although a smattering of Chamber and Tourism Development types did show up. The latter group, no more than five or so, argued that ceding one-third of the park’s six acres is good for economic development, and would provide desperately needed hotel rooms within a short walk of Riverfront Convention Center – apparently something that is de rigueur for destination sites like New Bern. read more…
